Construction of the Cancer Survivors Park (CSP)

The Swamp Rabbit Trail section of CSP connecting Falls Park with Cleveland Park is now open!

For your safety, thank you for not entering construction areas as we continue to finish Phase II of CSP! 

Construction of Phase II of the Cancer Survivors Park (CSP) began in Sept. 2016. High Level Phase II Donors were acknowledged at a Groundbreaking ceremony.  The "Spirit of Survivorship Bridge"opened this summer and the Clement's Kindness Children's Garden in honor of Dr. William F. Schmidt of the GHS Children's Hospital opened October 2017.

Phase II will also include: 

  • Survivorship Education Center (structure only)
  • Celebration Pavilion Platform
  • Waterfall
  • ADA accessible walkway from the Chamber of Commerce
  • ADA accessible garden paths & infrastructure

    Thank you for your patience as a special and healing space is being created for all.
