Cancer Survivors parks and gardens are being built all across the country, not as memorials, but as tributes to those living with cancer.  They are places of celebration, and bring together features designed to nurture the spirit and enhance coping.  The peaceful setting of a Cancer Survivors Garden offers a refuge from the ravages of the disease and its treatment, and promotes of sense of re-energizing and renewal.  Patients can become captivated by the rhythms of nature, reflect upon positive messages in plaques and artwork, or be inspired by the tributes to other survivors who have made the journey before them.  A Cancer Survivors Garden is a constant, tangible reminder that there is hope.
